Camp Lejeune contaminated water

From 1953 to 1987, the water at Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River had harmful chemicals in it. If you were there long enough and have one of the conditions below, VA presumes your service caused it.

We built these lists with AI from the regulations, the U.S. Code and VA.gov, so please check the official text too.

  • Records that show your qualifying service, such as your DD214, orders, or unit or ship records.
  • A discharge that isn't dishonorable.
